The Great Seal Adventure Rogaine Feb 17, 2008

Rain, rain, rain was the forecast all week for Sunday the 17th of Feb. They were wrong, wrong, wrong. The weather was a really nice compared to the expected. The Rogaine was sold out by the 9th and everyone that attended ended their day in pleasureable pain. That was a good thing...I Think??? The Great Seal Adventure Mountain Bike Skill Builder April 13, 2008

Rain, rain, rain was the forecast again!! This time the fore cast was somewhat right. The morning began as sunny and a nice 41 degrees. It actually felt like good riding conditions. The trails were wet but not muddy. Hey we are in southern Oh, we don't close our trails when it sprinkles. Anyway, we set out the signs, got the snacks and maps ready and got the skills contests ready. We were ready for the big rush of mountain bikers ready to go fast. The Great Seal Adventure Race at Lake Hope June 22, 2008

"Challenging" was the reacurring word for this event. The challenge began at the planning stages one year ago at Great Seal when the permit got approved then denied. That sent us into a panic of replanning and moved the event to Lake Hope. This ended up being a great change. Challenging continued as we were approved for the canoes..then denied...then approved.... The course design went really well while working with Lake Hope manager. We were able to carry the "challenge" theme into the course. SEE RESULTS Results

The Sleepy Hollow ROGAINE
	Eighty Three racers showed up to enter Sleepy Hollow at midnight to locate the head. and of course rain has become our common theme!! We have escaped the weathermans doom forecast in our past events.....but not this time. It RAINED the entire 12 hours. A BIG congrats to all teams that braved the cloudy, rainy, full moon night in Scioto Trail Park/Forest locating 30 CP's + 1. Detailed Results
