Please read through our policies and rules. These were developed to reduce conflict and to let you know how we intend to handle our events.

Registration Policies

 

  1. You may register as a solo if you have experience and confidence. You should know your own limitations. You are responsible for your own safety. Contact us before registering as a solo with your experiences. Twelve hour ROGAINE's will be for teams only.
  2. Teams sizes may range from 2-4 for adventure races and 2-5 for ROGAINE's.
  3. Anyone under 18 must be with a parent or guardian.
  4. Waiver forms must be signed before participation.
  5. Events will be conducted during rain, snow, total darkness, bright sunshine, subzero or extreme heat. BE PREPARED!!!
  6. Events may be postponed or rescheduled due to severe thunderstorms.
  7. Should we cancel a event, a full refund will be issued or race credit.
  8. Registration closes 5 to 7 days prior the event and may close early if we limit the number of entrants.
  9. Full refund if requested 14 days prior to the event. After that a race credit certificate will be issued in the full amount. It must be used within one year of issued date and is transferrable. The certificate must be presented when you register to receive credit. No credits if you are a no show!! Credit must be arranged prior to the event.

 

 

       Race Rules

  1. Good sportsmanship always prevails!!
  2. Park rules must be followed.
  3. Remove all trash.
  4. Event director has the last word, even if it is wrong.
  5. Helmets must be worn while pedalling a bike.
  6. PFD's must be worn while in a boat.
  7. When a control becomes misplaced or missing, if the team punches 2 controls surrounding the missing one the team will get credit for the missing one.
  8. All participants must sign a waiver.
  9. Teams must travel together and all members must be able to visually see each control punched.
  10. No electronic navigation devices. Altimeters are OK.
  11. Wireless phones are recomended for emegency use.
  12. A safety whistle is recomended in case you get lost or injured.
  13. Two catagories are solos and team. No catagories (divisions) based on age or gender.
  14. All racers must check out before leaving the race venue.
  15. Scoring will be Rogaine style. First number of checkpoint x 10. (ex. cp#63 = 60 points) except for adventure races.
  16. Late penalty = loss of highest cp and minus 1 point per minute past race finish time.
