We began discussing the possibilities of the turnout we would have for the day as we watched the traffic and waiting for racers to arrive. We relized that some would not attend due to the weather forecast, some may not attend if they discovered their bike was broke, lost or stolen, some may not attend since they was at another event, some may not attend cause they did not like us. Wait there is a car, nope it went on by. We continued our discussion onto the trails we would ride. Chuck would take one group, Tony another and John would take the fast group. Wait, two cars, nope they went on by. OK by now we are getting our bikes and gear ready, still waiting for the big rush. Wait, ahh yes a car with a bike on the rear. Let the games begin!!!
Yes, it appears that Todd swept all the events. So onto the ride. We headed to Sidewinder and up, up and pedal we go. To the top (ahh spring legs) and on around to copperhead which was in very good condition. We decided to drop down Habron to the Lake and finish the ride on the road. The weather was good, bad, ugly and really nice, seems like it was changing during the entire ride. But after 13 miles of riding some awesome trails we headed back to enjoy all the snacks. Todd got all the scoop on the upcoming AR on June 22 so he has no excuses.
